Automatic Heat Pipe Heating Degasser Machine

Automatic heat pipe heating degasser: ≤250°C, 4 heating stations, 450 pcs/hr, Ø6 & Ø8mm, 0.2–0.5mm wall, ±0.75mm fixed-length, U-shape riveting. Compact 1,300×1,450×2,200mm.

Product Description

The Automatic Heat Pipe Heating Degasser Machine is the compact, Ø6/Ø8mm-specialist thermal degassing machine — a lighter, smaller-footprint alternative to the M6 Heat Pipe Heating Degasser (1,200kg, ≤300°C) for production lines running standard CPU cooler and laptop heat pipe diameters. Lower operating temperature (≤250°C vs ≤300°C) reduces the thermal stress on thin-wall heat pipe ends (0.2–0.5mm wall) and extends the copper heating block service life. 4 heating stations. 450 pcs/hr. U-shaped riveting. ±0.75mm fixed-length tolerance. Compact footprint: 1,300 × 1,450 × 2,200mm, 800kg.

Why Lower Temperature (≤250°C) Is the Right Choice for Ø6/Ø8mm Heat Pipes

The relationship between heating temperature, degassing effectiveness, and heat pipe wall damage risk is not linear. Higher temperatures drive NCG out more rapidly and completely — but they also elevate the internal cavity pressure more aggressively and apply greater thermal stress to the degassing end of the heat pipe. For Ø6mm and Ø8mm heat pipes with wall thicknesses of 0.2–0.5mm, ≤250°C achieves the NCG removal depth needed for standard CPU cooler and laptop thermal performance specifications without approaching the working fluid’s critical temperature or the copper’s short-term stress limits at the sealed end. The ≤300°C capability of the M6/M7 machines is more appropriate for larger-diameter (Ø8–Ø10mm) or thicker-wall (0.3–0.5mm) heat pipes where higher temperatures are needed to drive NCG through the longer degassing path. Matching the heating temperature to the pipe specification — rather than using the highest available temperature — extends copper heating block life and reduces the risk of degassing-end deformation.

Production Line Position — Where This Machine Fits in the Heat Pipe Manufacturing Sequence

The heat pipe degassing station sits at Step 5 in the complete 11-step heat pipe production sequence — after working fluid injection and before welding/sealing at Step 6. It is the quality gate that determines the internal vacuum quality and working fluid charge accuracy of every heat pipe that proceeds to welding, hot pressing, bending, and performance testing. A heat pipe that leaves the degassing station with incorrect NCG level or incorrect working fluid volume cannot be corrected at any downstream step.
